Some days I start with a loud ROAR and others I start with a meow or a purr, but either way there’s no better feeling than letting out a noise while I stretch and open my eyes. It’s just one tiny action that totally makes a good stretch so much more satisfying.
We don’t have a real life kitty to call our own, (despite the 7 cat stick figure stickers on the back window of my car), but my 8 year old son swears he’s a kitty cat on the inside and can meow and purr better than any cat I’ve ever met. I even get to scratch his head sometimes if I’m lucky and he’s feeling snuggly.
Sugar Booger would love nothing better than having a cat to call his own but with three quarters of our family being allergic, plushies and wall art prints are the closest we can get. Maybe one day we’ll be able to find a hypo allergenic cat. Or maybe a hairless cat, but that almost seems to defeat the purpose of having a fluffy little buddy, doesn’t it?
As always, you can find these prints (and the print-it-yourself versions) in my etsy shop here:
